We are very pleased to announce the release of a new version of the Famundo Assistant that allows users to scan vital records, such as passports, birth certificates, marriage certificates, etc., directly from your scanner into your Famundo Family Library or Family Vault or Document Center if you are using Famundo for Organizations. With the Famundo Assistant, these records never even touch your computer, but are instantly moved to safe and secure online storage. By providing a visual record of the original document, families can easily replace these records which would ordinarily take months to replace.
The Famundo Assistant is a small applet that runs on your Windows desktop providing a number of helpful tools that work with your Famundo site.
Library Assistant – makes it easy to manage the files and folders in your Famundo Library as if they are part of your desktop. Upload and download multiple files and folders from your Famundo site without even logging in to the application. If you have more than one Famundo account, the Library Assistant can be used to access each of these sites.
Scan to Web – scan your documents, photos and other records directly from your scanner into your Famundo Library or Family Vault.
Offline Alarms – be notified a Famundo alarm even when you are not logged into Famundo.
