We have two versions of Famundo for Families. The basic version of Famundo for Families is FREE. Famundo for Familes PLUS costs $4.95/month or $49/year.
You can continue to use the basic version for as long as you like or upgrade to the PLUS version.

First, you need to make sure that the Calender Category, Calendar, and Events you want your friends to see have View Access set to Family and Friends Only.
Now you can invite your friends. Select each friend in the Address Book and click on Invite on the Contact Detail menu. This sends them an e-mail invitation to become a member of your Famundo site.
Once they have accepted the invitation and chosen their own login name and password, they will be able to view your online family calendar, as well as any documents, lists or messages you set with Family and Friends Only view access. However, they will not have access to your personal Famundo items designated as Private.
Of course, the general public can never view either Private or Family and Friends Only items.
Famundo is a web-based scheduling and information manager designed specifically for family use. It is hosted on our servers, so there is nothing for you to install.
Famundo for Families functions as the family hub, replacing your disorganized combination of wall calendar, refrigerator magnets, file folders, photo boxes and yellow sticky notes, eliminating the chaos and giving you control over your family’s daily life.
Famundo for Families includes a family home page, personal home pages and a public home page. Famundo for Families also includes the following core components:
- A Family Calendar to manage scheduling and coordination of the family and individual family members, and to integrate with community calendars.
- A family-organized Address Book which integrates with the family calendar and other areas of Famundo.
- A Message Board for notes and reminders of family communications with each other or to the outside world
- A List Center for all family-related lists, including People lists, Planning lists, My Stuff lists, and Shopping lists.
- A Family Library to centralize all family documents, photos, and bookmarks, and to provide a secure Family Vault for storing very important information.
We also offer a version of Famundo designed specifically for community organizations.

Yes. Famundo’s Outlook Sync Plugin allows you to keep your Calendar, Address Book, and ToDos/Tasks in sync with Microsoft Outlook. You can then sync Outlook with your Treo, Blackberry or Smartphone.

Famundo for Families includes up to 10 users and an unlimited number of family calendars. For example, each family member can have an online calendar in addition to other special family calendars such as home and work calendars. It’s up to you! And Famundo provides 10 distinct colors for color-coding your individual calendars.

No, Famundo is entirely web-based. You can access it anywhere, anytime from any computer with internet access.
You have the ability to add an unlimited number of online calendars to your Famundo site. We provide 25 distinct colors for color-coding your organization’s individual calendars.
The first thing you need to do is export your Trumba calendars.
Log into Trumba
- Display the calendar that you want to export.
- In the Calendar Tasks list to the left of your calendar, click Export this calendar.
- On the Export calendar screen, click Download calendar as an ICS file or Download calendar as a CSV file.
- In the dialog box, choose Save to save the exported file to your computer.
Note: If you are using mixed-in calendars, export each mixed-in calendar separately.
Log into Famundo and go to the Calendar page
- Click on Import.
- Locate the export file you saved on your computer.
- Select who the calendar Belongs to, (a user or the whole org/family).
- Select a calendar that these events will Displayed on (or Add new calendar).
- Select the Time zone for the imported events.
- Click on Import.
Depending on your connection speed and the size of the file, this process may take a few minutes.
Note: If your calendar contains recurring events and you export in CSV format, each recurring event will be imported as an individual event.
There are a number of situations where you may prefer online calendar items to be viewable by members only, rather than the general public. First, be sure to set your default access from “Public (Everyone)” to “All Staff and Members Only.”
Then, Famundo for Organizations allows you to add members and assign them exclusive viewing rights. Each member creates their own login name and password. Here is further information on creating members.
Or if your organization can get by with a single login and password shared with all members, you can streamline the process. In this scenario, you simply create a new member and e-mail the invitation to yourself. When you receive the e-mail invitation, click on the link and create a new login and password. Then you’re ready to share the new login name and password with all your members.

Yes. You can do this by creating a Calendar Category called Resources, and then creating individual calendars for each resource you need to manage.
If someone needs a resource at a particular time, they can check its availability and then schedule an available time when they need to use it. When someone else needs that same resource, they can view the calendar and see when it is or is not available.

Famundo for Organizations is FREE for all community organizations, and can even act as a fundraiser.
Yes. You can add Famundo for Organization’s logo or design of your choice as the top banner for each page on your Famundo for Organizations site, to provide a seamless transition from your current website to your Famundo site. You can use any .jpg, .gif or .png file with a maximum height of 100 pixels and a maximum width of 800 pixels. Your Famundo URL will also be customized with your organization’s name, for example “myorganization.famundo.com”.
In addition, a portion of your Famundo online calendar can be embedded on your current website, allowing visitors to see your schedule without leaving your site.
